Hey everyone!!! School is about to get back into full swing for me out here at Harding, and things will be absolutely crazy with activities and classes and all the aspects of college life. But even with all of that going on, I miss all of you like crazy and cannot wait to come and visit! I want every guy in the youth group to know that they are welcome to come visit and stay in my room for a couple of days (I have an extra bed and a sweet recliner, plus floor space), and I'm sure that Jordan won't mind me extending that invitation for the girls. I encourage all of you to look to each other for strength and support through this school year. Friends will disappear in an instant, but the body of Christ, which you are, will always be there. Do everything you can to lead each other on toward a better life centered around our awesome and powerful God. Ad don't forget that being a Christian isn't a burden or about a rule book that wants to stop your fun; true happiness and joy are from God and God alone. In John 15:9-12, Jesus said "As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you. Now remain in my love. If you obey my command, you will remain in my love, just as I have obeyed my Father's commands and remain in his love. I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete. My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." God will always love you, and you have been called to love each other. I know it's hard all the time, but the fruits of love are endless. I'll see you all, hopefully, in October sometime.
