Parents and Volunteers, Welcome to your section!!! This will hopefully be a place that will give you the information you need to help your teens form deeper connections with you, with God, and with His body, the church. Over the next few weeks and months I will be devopling this section to provided you with helpful internet links, creative ideas, and youth culture information so you can have the much needed information to help your teens make wise choices about the activities that they participate in. If you want a church to baby-sit your teen, or to just keep them entertained, then you need to check out some other churches. Here at SOCC we are growing and maturing and we want to help your teen shine brightly as we join together on a journey to become disciples of Christ. Our teens are challenged to lead, encourage, invite others, and be responsible for whatever activities they participate in. We attempt to let the word of God use us to share the message of God, and transform our lives. You won't find a ministry of one, you will find a group of christians sacrificing thier lives so that teens can know, be, show, and see Christ. |
